king's mill hopsital


Just been listening to Ptolemy Mann on Woman's Hour talking about, amongst other things, her commission for the facade of King's Mill Hospital in Nottingham.

You can see more images here - it looks absolutely stunning. The brief was to reduce 'threshold anxiety' for people coming to the hospital and I would imagine it goes some way towards achieving that. It was done about 10 years ago and it would be interesting to see how it is weathering.
