wallace and friend
I was reminded of Helen Kemp's ceramics today when I saw Wallace enjoying the sun this morning! Her friend was made by Jonathan Barrett-Danes .

There aren't many things I miss about England (people - now that's a different matter...) but the small pleasure of writing an envelope with my Parker 60 fountain pen and sticking on a Royal Mail stamp is one of them! French stamps are at best boring and at worst hideous. See the Royal Mail's current Darwin series here.
Our friend Lizzie Farey has an exhibition of her eloquent willow works, 'Spirit of Air' at Gracefield Arts Centre, Dumfries from 6 March - 18 April.

fingers crossed
'Sale' parcels which I have just entrusted (not entirely willingly) to the tender care of La Poste. I shall be keeping my fingers crossed for the next few days.
Now that the internet blackout seems to be over (fingers still crossed over that one) and the school holidays are over I'll be showing you some more collages over the next few days.
