Royal Dublin Society



Poplar will be on show at the National Crafts Competition at the RDS in Dublin from August 5 - 13.

Does that mean it has been selected from images? Congratulations, and good luck for further success with it.

I like its name - it reminds me of still early morning summer walks along poplars by a French river - that cool of the day in anticipation of great heat.

Yes, it has got through the first two rounds of judging. Thank you!
There are a lot of Poplars round here. There are two huge ones we see from the kitchen window and which often figure in Warb's painting. We have planted some too and I shall have to water them tonight. Summer is hard for young trees here...

Wonderful, and OH so nicely framed.....I suck at framing but I don't trust anyone else to do it either...sigh.
