Wonderful photo, but at first I was shocked that you seemed to have torn apart and sacrificed a ton of colored pencils. Now I see they are oil pastels or something.....right?
No, my son (and most of his school) went through a phase of collecting the leads broken whilst sharpening their pencils. The practice ended up being banned by their teacher as it turned into wanton vandalism!!

Hi Meabh, I did a master class with Aino last year. Her tapestries are amazing and more like a textile, soft and loosely woven. Debbie.
They are very fluid aren't they. I don't normally think that tapestry is the best medium to exploit line but she pulls it off.
